Wegener helps Expos make it two in a row...

April 20, 1969 Montreal:  Righthander Mike Wegener debuted with seven strong innings as Montreal downed Chicago 5-2 in the first game of a twin-bill.  Wegener (1-0) allowed five hits and two runs while walking one and striking out two.  Lefty Dan McGinn picked up his first save with two scoreless innings of relief.  Joe Niekro (1-1) suffered the setback.


Secondbaseman Gary Sutherland sparked the offense going 2 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI.  Coco Laboy added his second HR of the season.
