Laboy powers Expos to 6-3 win

April 19, 1969  Montreal:  Expos score five runs in the third inning to down the Cubs 6-3 in the series opener.  Thirdbaseman Coco Laboy powered the offense going 2 for 4 with a 2b and 3 RBI.  Mack Jones then followed with a 2 run HR.

Montreal starter Jim Grant (1-1) picked up the win going 6 innings with relievers Dan McGinn and Carroll Sembera closing the door.  Cub starter Ken Holtzman (0-3) suffered the loss.
