Jones stays hot as Expos sweep Chicago...

April 20, 1969 Montreal:  Expos leftfielder Mack Jones went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI as Montreal gains their first series sweep in team history.  Jones raised his average to .342 on the young season.  Shortstop Maury Wills did what he does best, getting on base with two walks, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

Young righty Carl Morton improved his record to 2-1, holding the Cubs scoreless for six innings.  Fergie Jenkins saw his record fall to 1-2 as he struggled with his control in the April Canadian weather allowing seven walks in eight innings.
