SF comes to life and wins 3 of 4 vs. Pirates

Game 1: Pittsburgh 4 San Francisco 2
W: Veale (6-3)  L: Marichal (2-10)
Pirates scored all of their runs in the 1st inning and Veale limited SF to just 3 hits to pick up his 6th win of the season.

Game 2: San Francisco 5 Pittsburgh 1
W: Sadecki (4-7)  L: Blass (4-4)
Ray Sadecki scattered 6 hits and Jim Ray Hart hit his 2nd homer in two days as the Giants picked up only their second win in 10 games.

Game 3: San Francisco 6 Pittsburgh 3
W: Bolin (3-0)  L: Bunning (2-5)
A 1st inning homerun by Willie Mays got the Giants started and a 3 run shot by Hart gave Bolin a 5 run cushion to work with.  Pittsburgh scored 3 in the 6th and had the bases loaded in the 9th, but Willie Stargell popped out to end the game.

Game 4: San Francisco 6 Pittsburgh 1
W: Perry (7-4)  L: McBean (4-4)
Willie Mays jump started SF again with a 2 run blast in the 1st inning.  A four run 4th gave Gaylord Perry all the runs he needed to nail down his 7th win.
